Due to virtual indifference from the melodic rock community and only minor support from rock-based alliances, Toon It Up will be changing it's focus from melodic rock subjects and bands to those of a more contemporary nature. The first strip in this new format features discussion about the arguably reigning punk rock princess Avril Lavigne, whose new album is due out on April 17th, and Good Charlotte, who's recently released CD shows a maturity within the band but still doesn't stray too far from it's pop-punk roots. If you get a chance, check them both out. You may end up enjoying the change of pace from the rock you've listening to!

3/23/07 - Last Sunday, I had the privilege of getting together with a handful of other webcomic creators in the Indianapolis area. We had a great time and the result will soon be taking the form of an Indy Webcomic Group blog. It will feature, in the beginning, the powers-that-be behind Ardra, Better You Than Me, Go KC!, Metrophor Random Assembly and Rogue Robot. It should be a lot of fun. Watch for it!

3/2/07 - I apologize in advance if any the strips for the next few months end up delayed a few days or even a week. I have a full plate right now that includes working on a children's book with financial planner/author Peter Dunn and a full-length comic book adventure featuring everyone's favorite platypus Dakk Waggitt. I'll give you more details on both as soon as the time is right.
