Nothing Like The Reel Thing!

This summer, the band Journey made headlines when it was discovered that the were using some prerecorded vocals to aid former lead vocalist Steve Augeri who was having throat problems. To help in his recovery, they hired singer Jeff Scott Soto to finish off the tour and just a day or so ago announced that Jeff would permanently be filling the position. As someone that caught one of their shows this summer, I'd say that the right choice was made by Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain and the boys. They seemed revitalized and ready to take on the world. Hopefully the next album fronted by Jeff will prove that Journey still has some rock and roll relevance left in them!

Don't forget to check out my other comic strip that has just made its debut over at the blog of Pete The Planner. Though what you see is entitled Pete the Planner as well, the strip will soon change to Pete & Pig to emphasize the "buddy" aspect of the comic. I'm not sure of the frequency of this new strip but you can be assured you'll see much more of Pete & Pig in 2007!
