Yes, it's true! WKRP In Cincinnati will finally be released on DVD in mid-2007. A couple of websites have already posted the news and sparked some major discussion regarding the music replacement possibilities. My thoughts on the subject: WKRP is worth spending the extra money to be done right. I'd much rather pay a little extra to have the show on DVD with the original music intact as opposed to it being torn apart due to replacement with generic songs and voice-overs hiding the original music mentions. Hopefully, it's not just me that feels this way. Hey, if they could release Miami Vice on DVD with all the original songs, they should be able to pull this off as well. But only time will tell....
