I'm not sure what the attraction of cover albums is, but it seems like everyone is doing them. Not only the aforementioned Styx, Def Leppard and Ozzy Osbourne but Toto, Rick Springfield and more! I have to admit there are some that aren't bad, but I'd much rather have a new all-original CD by a band than some rehashed old songs that were most likely done better the first time. In my opinion the cover tunes should be relegated to B-side status. But then again, no one asked me!

And speaking of Bon Jovi, though hopefully a disco album isn't in the offing, what is coming up are recording sessions in Nashville. Who knows, this new album may be a little bit Country and a little less Rock 'n Roll. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
