Welcome! Toon It Up is a brand-new online comic by Ron Braun that takes a look at the world of Rock Music from an entirely different point of view. Every week starting September 8th, join Gib (the Guitar), Marshall (the Amp) and Mike (the Microphone) as they wisecrack their way through headline-inspired comic strips about the bands you know and love (or maybe loathe), the scandals and blowouts of those same band-members and, of course, our musical pop-culture in general.

This week's strip pokes fun at the ego trips that a lot of rock stars cop both on and off stage. The brown M&Ms go back to the David Lee Roth-fronted Van Halen days where their tour rider actually specified that they wanted no brown candies in their dressing room. Flash forward thirty years to find Eddie Van Halen composing music for adult films. How far we've sunk. But that's fodder for a later tale. For now, enjoy!
