He's More Mr. Nice Guy!

This week's Toon It Up was featured in print in Indy.com Magazine and online at IndyWebComics.com last week. As far as Alice Cooper goes, it's all true. He's also got a new CD called "Along Came A Spider" that was just recently released. Check it out.

More Than A Beetle!

Some of the Toon It Up strips are borne out of real-life conversations and this is one of them. In fact, within a half-hour of my groan-inducing "hitch a ride" line that occured after a discussion about the late Boston vocalist Brad Delp's prized VW Beetle being up for auction on eBay, I had a comic created. And here (as well as on IndyWebComics.com) it is!

I'm Beard, I'm Nationwide!

Today's Toon It Up graced the analog and digital pages of Indy.com Magazine and IndyWebComics.com last week. I've always thought that the two bearded members (Billy Gibson and Dusty Hill) of ZZ Top in contrast to the beardless Frank Beard was some humorous irony but to add a third bearded wonder into the mix in the form of producer Rick Rubin was too good to pass up. So I didn't.

...And Then The Guitar Gently Wept!

Last week Indy.com Magazine ran today's Toon It Up strip (which also ran Tuesday over at IndyWebComics.com). This comic came from the desire to do a strip about Katy Perry and her unexpected hit song. I wasn't even thinking about going this route, but here's where it ended up nonetheless. Enjoy!

...Or Maybe "The Chamber Of SandTraps"?!

This brand-spanking new Toon It Up strip is also up at IndyWebComics.com but won't be published elsewhere. It was based on the news story from a few days ago about Warner Bros., which owns the rights to the Harry Potter films, suing an Indian production company whose new movie is entitled "Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors." Seemed like it needed to be made fun of...

The Song Remains Ridiculous!

Here's an older Toon It Up strip that ran back in May and was featured in Indy.com Magazine as well as on IndyWebComics.com. I neglected to run it at the time but here it is now for you to enjoy in the privacy of your own...well...wherever you are.

Tooned Down!

This Toon It Up strip was featured in today's Indy.com Magazine and will soon be online at IndyWebComics.com. Obviously the thought behind this comic is simple: Most concerts cost too much. That said, I, personally, would never go as far as to apply for a loan to help subsidize my summer concert needs, as that just seems ridiculous. But would selling blood, plasma or other bodily fluids be going too far? Hmmmm...
